Justin Welby
Just demonstrated a compelling argument for the abolition of the House of Lords. An unelected witch doctor trying to influence government policy.

3 points for doing 25 in a 20 road. Shows how easy it is to get points if you stop concentrating for about 5 seconds

Doesn't this cunt want to give £100m in reparations. No wonder no fucker goes to church if this is an example of who's waiting for you

Re: Justin Welby
Clearly not because a proper priest doesn't virtue signal about asylum seekers. He expresses proper views on the perils of the "ideology of gender" and the "sexualisation" of infant school children by lefties and liberals with "strange ideas about the family".

It's now part of the election campaign here.

Becket was elevated to the title of Archbishop of Canterbury, by the King from out of having held no prior church office.

Re: Justin Welby
He may not have actually held the title of priest but I was using at as Henry II used it symbolically as in "Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest?"

Re: Justin Welby
If he is that bothered about the homeless why doesn’t he put some camp beds in Canterbury cathedral. But that would probably be filled with the UK people that are already sleeping rough in the doorway of Canterbury.

JMP

I went to a service at Canterbury cathedral just before Christmas (long story) Jesus didn't get much of a mention. It was all about asylum seekers and homeless asylum seekers, and a bit about his dead father, linked to the plight of asylum seekers. It was every flavour of asylum seeker. It's not just Welby.

Re: Justin Welby
Welby is a typical example of an installed official. There is no way in the world he would even have been the best candidate to be a village parish priest, so he is there for a purpose and it is not to serve the church or its flock.

Sunak is another, he has been installed for a purpose, there are loads of them in lots of countries and they do not work for us.

Only realised that he was a believer while at Cambridge and that was his vocation. First applied and turned away by The Bishop of Kensington where he was told there was no future for him in the Church. Then accepted at Coventry.

Seems Elton Welsby is still alive at 71
As an Everton fan he was last in the news via Twitter a couple of years ago .....

Former ITV presenter Elton Welsby has been slammed by football fans following his comments about Everton's clash with Manchester United in the Women's Super League.

Everton drew 1-1 with their Manchester rivals on Sunday afternoon thanks to a late equaliser from Simone Magill.

However, Welsby tweet after the game caused some backlash: "Just watching the last 15 mins of our birds playing Man Utd tarts.

"It's better than I thought it would be but I still can't get excited watching it.

"They are clearly enjoying themselves and that is all that counts as long as I don't have to watch it."

No record of Justin Welby's opinion .... though he doesnt strike me as a football fan. Apart from u10 boys maybe
